Joeboy, an artist from Empawa, has released a new single titled “Baby.” An impressive first attempt

Joeboy, who made his major debut in the music industry through the Mr Eazi-sponsored Empawa, released the ‘Dera’ produced song ‘Baby,’ which has been on everyone’s lips ever since and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon, as it keeps getting new every time it is played and has climbed every major music chart in and around Nigeria.

The song, which was released under Mr. Eazi’s music imprint, was officially released sometime last year and quickly became an anthem among Nigerian youths. Following the song’s success, Joeboy uploaded a visualizer video to YouTube, which currently has 9.2 million views. He then released an official video directed by prolific video director Justin Campos, which has received over 1.7 million views on the video-sharing platform.

The Banku Music signed act has shown the world that he is here to stay with his song ‘Baby,’ which has good lyrics and also sounds like a masterpiece, which is different from the usual sound served by a lot of Nigerian music acts. Since its debut, the song has topped the songs of A-listers on music charts, competing fiercely with every other hit song for the number one spot on every music chart. The song remained Nigeria’s number one track for a long time, as it took months for it to fall out of the top spot.
