SOMEONE HAS TO LIE, EVEN WHEN IT’S ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY…

This morning, mobile policemen in Borno state took to the streets of the state capital, Maiduguri, to protest their six months unpaid allowances.

The officers who were posted to the state in January this year to prosecute the war against Boko Haram, said they haven’t been paid their allowances.

Reacting to the protest, the Police Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood said ‘no Policeman protested in Borno or anywhere in the country. Salary is being paid as at when due but some PMF personnel in Maiduguri only went to make enquiry on their allowances’.
