Following the End SARS protest and the official ban on SARS, the government has so far established SWAT as the ideal and right group to replace SARS in Nigeria.
The Special Weapon and Tactic are a modern replacement for SARS, but the people are not happy with the new replacement because they are protesting against SWAT.
Police IGP has made it official lately, though people have responded bitterly and quite haughtily. They don’t need SARS or even SWAT.
