Early Life & Background

Sugarboy who is the first of three children was born in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. He is from Ikono local government area but grew up in Ajegunle area of Lagos state and Suleja, Niger state.

He attended University of Porthacourt where he beagn to pursue his music career.

Music Career

With musical influences from the likes of Bob Marley, Gregory Isaac and Majek Fashek, Sugarboy started having passion for music at the age of 14 while being supported by his father who had all the albums of the late 70’s and 90’s.
